Four accomplished musicians and music teachers with decades of combined performance and teaching experience make up El Paso Guitar Quartet.

Jonathan Lozoya

Jonathan has been playing and performing on the guitar for over 17 years with an extensive musical education including studies in guitar at The University of Texas at El Paso. Preformances range from Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary Popular music.

Danielle Anaya

Danielle Anaya is a native El Pasoan and UTEP graduate, with degrees in both commercial music and business. She has been playing guitar for sixteen years, and studied under Professor John Siqueiros while at UTEP. As a finalist for the University of Texas Board of Regents scholarship, Danielle was invited to perform in Austin in the summer of 2012 for the Board of Regents meeting, which included Dr. Diana Natalicio and then-UT System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa among the audience members. In addition to participating in various music-related events in the community, Ms. Anaya has enjoyed teaching guitar and piano at Desert Moon Music Lessons for the past five years, and recently released her first solo album, Renaissance to Romantic: 3 Centuries of Guitar.

Isaac Medrano

Isaac has been studying and performing The Classical Guitar since the age of 14. He is currently in pursuit of his Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Isaac has an extensive background in Classical, Jazz and Contemporary style.

obeth hinojosa

Obeth Hinojosa

Obeth, a native of Juarez, Mexico is an experienced classical guitarist with training in chamber music and is currently a member of the El Paso Guitar Quartet.
